Reiki Level 2

Saturday, November 1, 2025 8:30am to 2:30pm

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique typically administered with light touch on or slightly above the body. Reiki promotes stress reduction and relaxation and facilitates the body to heal itself.

There are 3 levels or degrees to Reiki:
During Reiki level 1, the student will learn what Reiki is and how it works, learn the history of Usui Reiki, receive the attunement for the first degree of Reiki, learn a self-treatment protocol, learn a full treatment for a client, and learn other ways to apply Reiki throughout life - pets, plants, family, integrated into other bodywork methods, etc.

During Reiki level 2, the student will learn advanced techniques and symbols for amplifying sessions and facilitating distance Reiki, and they will receive the attunement for the second degree.

During Reiki level 3, the student will receive the third degree attunement for Reiki Master and Teacher and learn how to give attunements for all levels of Reiki. After this level, the student is considered a Reiki Master.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Saturday, November 8, 2025 8:30am to 2:30pm

Although not a particularly familiar body system, the Lymphatic System is crucial in maintaining our overall health and well-being and important in helping our immune system function properly.  Through a series of networks and vessels just below our skin, toxins and other waste products are carried in a fluid called lymph, cleansed in our body’s filters (lymph nodes) and reintroduced back into the circulatory system.

Participants in this workshop will learn basic anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system and the role lymphatic structures and organs play in transporting and eliminating waste and toxins in our bodies.  We will discuss and practice techniques to help manually assist lymph through vessels of the lymphatic system by means of short, light-pressure strokes.  Conditions affecting the lymphatic system and how lymphatic drainage may safely help in easing the side effects of these conditions will also be learned so that you can add this fascinating and beneficial technique to your skills as a massage therapist right away!

Saturday, November 22, 2025 8:30am to 2:30pm

Including a hot or cold stone treatment as part of your massage routine is a beneficial way to help your clients who suffer from stiff muscles, aching joints, headaches or are just looking to decrease stress. Using the stone as a tool, the massage therapist is able to enhance their massage strokes for superficial or deep tissue work.
This workshop will explore what the best stones are for hot and cold stone treatment, safety considerations, and techniques used with stones in a massage routine for parts of the body and face. Participants will get a chance to practice with hot and cold stones so that they may safely and easily incorporate it into their massage routine.
