Dr. Grigore,
As a follow up to our  latest conversation about the economy and the general state of affairs I just want to let you know how valuable I think my Massage Therapy education  at North Eastern Institute of Whole Health, is to me at this point in time.
In July  2009, I lost my job after 11 years with the company.  In a matter of about ten minutes time I went from a happy, long term employee for a good company making a good salary to a guy sitting in his car in the parking lot trying to figure what to do and where to go.
That’s not easy for anybody but I can imagine that for people in their mid-fifties  like me, who loose their jobs and don’t have any options it can be much worse.
Since I am in the final couple months of massage education and expect to be certified by November I feel fortunate that I have another skill that I’ve acquired that quite literally could keep me financially afloat.
I know just having this skill doesn’t guarantee anything but I can do tell you that I am determined to make it work and I am thankful that I made this decision.  At that time no one could have convinced me that I needed another skill but now, going through these circumstances, I am grateful that I saw it through and would advise anyone to do the same.  Just knowing that I was very close to graduating got me through some very rough days.
Thanks,
Reed Douglas Madden
